January Meeting Minutes!
So what is happening with Positive Space?
Quite a bit; as a matter of fact… we’ve eliminated membership dues altogether, seen the third big shake up of our cabinet since the group began and are we now taking our monthly meetings out of the coffee shop and into the bar. But we do mean The Bar, meet us next week…

Working backwards, lets offer a huge hello to our new cabinet, chiefly Andrea W. Silva the new president of Positive Space. She’ll be keeping PS growing and continuing to grow our biggest event with ARTS & CRAP 5 on May 5th, 2007 (reserve your spot now!) and coordinating with the FNA Beautification Commitee to help build a dog park right in the neighborhood
Which brings us back to the beginning; No Dues; no worries, no hassles. Your participation pays your way when you meet neighborhood artists in the fastest growing community in the country. We’ve created strong inroads within our community but, we need your help making this the best place for art in the city. Our meetings are the second Monday of each month at Johnny Brenda’s; from 7PM to 8PM.
Some more now on that new board; the roll-call sees David Talento and Simon Grigsby as the new VP’s. David is working to create a Guerilla Art Project on the Positive Space Lot; while Simon is the go to contact for Fishtasticon 3. We’ve also added the talented Dan Scholnick as the slick new Treasurer; because Positive Space continues to get PAID (and pays the bills, to boot.) If you need to be in the know; I’ll be your go to guy; the new Secretary is me, Nick Silva. I’ll be keeping you in touch on the web at www.positivespace.net and giving you the skinny here every month.
